Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile has completed a multi-phase renovation that transforms its guest rooms, suites, meeting and event spaces and restaurant.

The first phase of the renovation focused on the hotel’s 20,000 sf of meeting and event space, including its Grand Ballroom. The refreshed design draws inspiration from the theme “Where the City Meets the Lake,” using colors and tones reminiscent of Lake Michigan.

The refurbishments also included upgraded audio and technology enhancements to improve functionality for corporate meetings, conferences, weddings and social events.
New Sky Bridge
A newly added sky bridge now connects the hotel directly to Northwestern Medicine’s Galter Pavilion, offering indoor access between the hotel and the medical campus. The addition strengthens the property’s appeal for medical meetings, training events and conferences.
Reimagined Rooms & Suites
All guest rooms and suites have been fully redesigned with custom artwork, vibrant color palettes, wood finishes and layered lighting.

The property’s culinary experience has also been elevated with the debut of The Bridge Kitchen + Cocktails, a contemporary space featuring curated local art and an open bar concept. The menu highlights shareable plates—ideal for group dining or post-meeting networking—alongside craft cocktails that are named after Chicago’s culinary scene. Signature offerings include the Mozzarella Arancini, Bridge Burger, Mediterranean Sea Bass, the Chicago Honey Old Fashioned and the Bridge & Tonic.
Sustainability at the Forefront
The renovation incorporates several sustainability-focused upgrades, including energy-efficient LED lighting, low-flow water fixtures, refillable water stations on every floor, reduced single-use plastics, food composting and paperless operational systems.
