New meetings-focused hotels in Rome, Berlin and Armenia.

New hotels coming into the pipeline worldwide are catering to the trend of meeting and incentive attendees leaning into immersive destination experiences. Among them are a boutique hotel with a strong sense of place in Rome, a landmark hotel in Berlin, and the debut of the Hyatt Regency brand in Armenia.

Hyatt Regency Dilijan, Armenia

Summer 2026 saw the groundbreaking of Hyatt Regency Dilijan, marking the debut of the Hyatt Regency brand in Armenia with a collaboration of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Green Rock LLC.  The 205-room hotel will offer extensive dining and entertainment experiences, plus a purpose-built conference center. Known for its mountain landscapes, cultural heritage and national parks, Dilijan continues to grow as a year-round destination for MICE travel. “We look forward to introducing the Hyatt Regency brand to Armenia through this collaboration with Green Rock,” said Ludwig Bouldoukian, Regional Vice President Development, Middle East and Africa, Hyatt, in a press statement. “Dilijan has tremendous long-term potential and the Hyatt Regency brand, with its premium full-service offering, is ideally positioned to support the destination as a leading location for leisure travel, meetings and events.” The hotel will be part of a complex that ultimately includes a conference center accommodating more than 550 attendees, further strengthening Dilijan’s ability to host larger conferences and corporate meetings. Additional details regarding the hotel’s construction timeline and opening date will be announced as the project progresses.

Experimental Roma

Always popular for meetings and incentives, Rome has a new high-end offering for small corporate groups. The elegant, 82 room Experimental Roma, due to open in October 2026, is set within a former bank on on the legendary Via Veneto, cradle of Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and a stage of Italy’s golden age of glamour. There’s a strong sense of place throughout the guest rooms and public spaces, with a play of contrasts between luxe textures and repurposed industrial elements: marble against stainless steel; hues of terra cotta against shiny metal. Designed to bring people together, the hotel’s event spaces include a restaurant available for private lunches and dinners for up to 80 attendees, a rooftop with panoramic views across the Roman skyline for receptions of up to 65, a hybrid meeting space for up to 40 and the Experimental Cocktail Club for smaller gatherings and VIP events of up to 35. Nearby partner venues provide additional options for larger group events.

Hyatt Regency Palace Berlin

The Hyatt Regency Palace Berlin is due to open in early 2027.

The landmark Hotel Palace Berlin is scheduled to undergo a phased renovation and join the Hyatt Regency brand and World of Hyatt in early 2027 as The Hyatt Regency Palace Berlin. With 239 guest rooms and 39 suites, the hotel is designed to support productive business travel while offering opportunities to relax and unwind. There is a total of 28,000 sf of meeting and event space that can accommodate up to 900 attendees. The transition will be accompanied by a thoughtful redesign and modernization focused on the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms. “Hotel Palace Berlin has built an exceptional reputation over many years, and we’re excited to welcome it to the Hyatt Regency brand,” said Gabriela Basovska, Director Development Northern Europe, Hyatt, in a press statement. “Its prime City West location, premium hospitality and exceptional meeting facilities make it a natural fit for a brand built around bringing people together.”
