La Concha Resort, Puerto Rico, an Autograph Collection Hotel, has completed a renovation of its ballroom and meetings and events facilities as part of a broader $80.2 million property-wide transformation.
The updates include redesigned event venues and 25,000 sf of flexible indoor meeting space, positioning the oceanfront resort as a destination for corporate meetings, incentive programs, conferences and special events.
Expanded Ballroom and Flexible Meeting Venues
At the center of the renovation is the Las Nereidas Ballroom, the resort’s largest venue, which spans 5,576 sf and can accommodate receptions for up to 580 attendees. Additional meeting spaces include:
- Salon Mirador – 1,239 sf of flexible event space
- Atlantiko – a 3,648-sf venue suited for mid-size gatherings
- Salon Indigo – 1,920 sf for breakout sessions or private meetings
Each venue features floor-to-ceiling windows with ocean or city views, along with updated design elements and contemporary finishes.
Outdoor Event Options on the Beachfront
Complementing the indoor meeting facilities are 10,000 sf of outdoor event venues, offering planners additional space for receptions and networking events. Among the highlights is the Marena Outdoor Pool Deck, a 5,600-sf venue with a dedicated pre-function area designed for welcome receptions, cocktail hours and social gatherings in a beachfront setting.
Renovated Suites and New Dining Experiences
Beyond the meeting and event upgrades, the renovation also included 235 redesigned suites in the resort’s Suite Tower, featuring private balconies, residential-style marble bathrooms and expanded living areas. Select accommodations also offer private plunge pools.
The property has also expanded its culinary offerings, including Levant, a Mediterranean-inspired concept led by Michael White, along with Tekka Bar, a handroll and sake venue, and AQA Oceanfront, the resort’s signature restaurant.
Wellness amenities include treatments and services at the resort’s Elemara Spa & Salon.
Caribbean Destination for Meetings and Incentives
Located along the beachfront in San Juan, La Concha Resort combines updated meeting facilities, outdoor event space and destination experiences, making it an appealing option for planners seeking Caribbean venues for corporate meetings and incentive travel programs. The resort also participates in the Marriott Bonvoy platform, allowing members to earn and redeem points for stays and experiences.
