Costa Rica is about to get a bit more rock ‘n’ roll with plans to open the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Papagayo Costa Rica in early 2018.
The brand’s foray into the country will include a 294-room modern retreat on the Papagayo Peninsula. This means attendees will have access to eco-adventure excursions and secluded landscapes that make up Costa Rica’s biodiversity. The upscale resort community features private beaches along coves that dot the emerald waters of the Pacific Ocean.
“We’re excited to bring such a world-class, award-winning brand to Papagayo that will raise the standard of cool and contemporary for Costa Rican all-inclusive resorts,” says Jordi Pelfort, managing director of Blue Diamond Resorts, which will manage the hotel. “With a passionate fan base and proven track record of delivering memorable experiences through landmark hotels and resorts, we look forward to collaborating with Hard Rock International and welcoming visitors of all ages to Costa Rica’s first Hard Rock Hotel.”
While the Costa Rican backdrop will provide an authentic experience, the hotel will feature Hard Rock brand exclusives such as the full-service Rock Spa and Sound of Your Stay music amenity program that allows attendees to checkout Fender guitars. Meeting planners can also expect four a la carte eateries, with a North American steak house, Asian restaurant, Italian trattoria and internationally inspired outlet currently in the works.
