The new Floating Lounge at Esperanza can accommodate up to 25 attendees.

Attendees can feast on coastal Baja cuisine and dance to a DJ while afloat on the new Floating Lounge at Esperanza, a Relais & Châteaux resort overlooking the Sea of Cortez in Cabo San Lucas. This exclusive entertainment space is ideal for intimate events for up to 25 attendees and comes complete with private butler service, appetizer and cocktail menu, live DJ, and water activities, including stand up paddle boarding, parasailing, wave runners and snorkeling. The Floating Lounge—which is essentially a barge—sits right on the Sea of Cortez.

Also new is a beverage program that includes new craft beer tastings, vintner’s dinners and a poolside margarita butler for groups renting the poolside cabanas. The butler demonstrates how to make the cocktails choosing from a selection of six exotic flavors, including tamarind-lime “Mezcalita” and mango-jalapeño.

The 57-room Esperanza resort (which also has 60 luxurious villas) also features a full-service spa, beachfront infinity pool and several dining outlets, and is tucked between two scenic bluffs on the Baja peninsula.
