Meeting planners can now enhance the Las Vegas experience of their attendees by including discounted multi-day monorail passes in the cost of attendee registration. Planners also have the option to pass along a discounted rate to their customers via a customized URL.
Single-ride passes on the Monorail start at $5, while multi-ride passes are available for periods of 24 hours up to 7 days. The Monorail system currently includes seven stations along the Las Vegas Strip with a stop at the Las Vegas Convention Center and a direct connection to eight properties offering more than 26,000 hotel rooms. The quick and convenient Monorail connects riders to world-class restaurants, shows, shops, nightclubs, spas, hotels and casinos. It operates nine climate-controlled trains, each consisting of four cars and 72 seats, which run every 4 to 8 minutes.
The Monorail is Las Vegas’s “green” public transportation choice, and its zero-emissions trains reduced toxic emissions by 26.5 tons of carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and nitrous oxides (NOx) and eliminated over 2.3 million vehicle miles in 2015. Its commitment to the environment makes the Monorail an ideal transportation option for industries and associations seeking to lower their environmental footprint.
Monorail stops include MGM Grand; Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas; Flamingo/Caesars Palace; Harrah’s/The LINQ; Las Vegas Convention Center; Westgate Resort & Casino and SLS Las Vegas. Hours of operation are Mondays, 7 a.m. to midnight; Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday through Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 a.m.
