On June 6, Red Rock Resort opened the newly renovated Spa at Red Rock by Well & Being with groups in mind. The resort and its 25,000-sf spa, located about 10 miles off the Las Vegas Strip in the heart of the Red Rock Mountains, provide a relaxing escape for groups in search of innovative health and wellness options.

Take vertical wall yoga for instance. Meeting planners can organize a class in which attendees will practice yoga using a rope wall to provide support for various positions on the floor, upside down or with one’s feet up against the wall. Other activities on the spa’s group wellness menu include outdoor hiking excursions, stress-management workshops and interactive nutrition classes. Glam It Up also offers customized beauty treatments, live music, champagne and small bites in the renovated salon.

Several other innovative classes such as Rock & Flow Yoga and In-Trinity Board classes will soon be available at the spa. Rock & Flow Yoga (recommended for intermediate or advanced yogis) is a fast-paced Vinyasa class that takes participants through a series of challenging transitions and arm balances to the tune of upbeat music. Similar to vertical wall yoga, In-Trinity Board classes take yoga off the floor and onto an elevated fitness board to give participants more room for new movements and flexibility.

The spa’s multimillion-dollar renovation includes a fitness studio, mind-body studio with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and custom-designed demo kitchen for personalized nutrition planning. The new layout was designed to create a health and wellness community with a coed relaxation lounge and outdoor shower garden, as well as a pool deck that can be used for outdoor classes and events.
