As wellness becomes a bigger part of the corporate meeting agenda, planners are looking for experiences that help attendees recharge while still creating opportunities for connection.
The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago is responding with a new private wellness option for small corporate and executive groups.
The hotel’s Frequency Float experience transforms its indoor pool into a candlelit setting for a 45-minute guided meditation and sound bath. Available for groups of up to 18, the experience allows attendees to float in the water while immersive sound vibrations create a more restorative alternative to traditional team-building activities.
A Wellness Break for Groups
Private Frequency Float sessions are available Monday through Thursday outside regular spa hours, with start times between 6 and 8 p.m. Groups receive exclusive access to the spa’s steam room, sauna, poolside lounge and locker facilities for up to an hour before the session and can remain poolside for up to 30 minutes afterward.
Planners can also customize the experience with food and beverage offerings and event signage for an additional cost. The format can work as an evening activity during a corporate retreat, an executive gathering or as a wellness-focused addition to a larger meeting program.
The offering comes as wellness continues to gain traction among business travelers. According to Hilton’s 2026 Why We Gather Trends Report, 76 percent of work-event attendees enjoy participating in employer-organized wellness activities.
Meetings at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago
Frequency Float adds a wellness component to a property that already offers 35,000 sf of meeting and event space, including private dining rooms and the 8,370-sf Ritz-Carlton Ballroom.
For planners, the experience provides another way to build intentional downtime into a meeting itinerary while taking advantage of the hotel’s existing event infrastructure.
