With a bevy of professional sports teams, San Jose is an exciting place to catch some team spirit. Guests will feel the sizzle and exhilaration along with locals as they cheer on the home teams together. With such a great sporting atmosphere — we wouldn’t be surprised if your guests go home as fans.

Often called the “Quakes,” San Jose’s pro men’s soccer club, the Earthquakes, takes on competitors at PayPal Park. Attendees can join in singing “Since I Was Born” and “In San Jose” with diehard fans to support the Black and Blue. If they can’t make it to see the game in person, send them to Rookies Sports Lodge to watch the game on a 90” HDTV with a frosty brew in hand.

March 2024 marks the beginning of the inaugural season of San Jose’s National Women’s Soccer League team, the Bay FC. The excitement is building for the opening match at PayPal Park. Spearheaded by soccer legends and co-founders Brandi Chastain, Aly Wagner, Danielle Slaton and Leslie Osborne, your guests can join the fandom at its start and watch the rise of this passionate team.

If your guests want to keep it cool, they can head to the SAP Center, or “Shark Tank,” to feel the electric chill when the San Jose Sharks take the ice. S.J. Sharkie entertains and rallies the crowd with daring stunts and humorous antics, and the energy in the stadium rises when the theme from “Jaws” plays.

A jaunt outside of San Jose is Levi’s Stadium, the legendary home of the San Francisco 49ers. The tenth-oldest team in the nation, the 49ers began playing in 1946 and have remained in the Bay Area for all 78 seasons. With five Super Bowl titles, this team has loyal fans who bring energy to live games and players with the skills and passion to make it all the way to the big game.

For a unique sporting experience, send your attendees to a Silicon Valley Roller Girls game. Fierce bouts and clever skater names keep the crowd buzzing, while the skilled skaters elicit oohs and ahhs. And game-goers can feel good about more than just the match — the Roller Girls are committed to giving back to local causes and donating proceeds to charity.

No matter their sport of choice — or even if they’re not a sports fan — San Jose’s sporting events will bring out the team spirit in everyone.
