Inspired Events Summit Sparks Fresh Ideas

Locally inspired CSR, food, art, music and gifting were at the heart of our Inspired Events Summit at the see-and-be-seen The Ben Hotel in West Palm Beach.

From an inspiring kickoff by the creator of the Build-a-Bike teambuilding program; to the debut of a new CSR entrant in the South Florida marketplace, Guitars Over Guns; to a session on how to impress “been-there, done-that” groups; to an idea-sharing hour about how to incorporate local venues, activities, F&B and gifting into your meeting or incentive program, the Inspired Events Summit encouraged attendees to think differently about their events! Thank you to our insightful speakers: Lain Hensley, Tahira Endean, CITP,CMP,DES,CED, Greg Kaul and Josh Adams, CMP.

A local lunch and shopping experience featured artists and vendors from the Palm Beach area, including Carol Calicchio, 4ocean PBC, Happylicious by Betsy and others, sponsored by The Palm Beaches.

Many thanks to our wonderful sponsors: Holland America Line, The Boca Raton, Visit St. Pete Clearwater, The Biltmore Coral Gables, Asheville NC, Fort Myers – Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and The Beaches Visitors & Convention Bureau, Royal Caribbean International, Experience Kissimmee, Atlanta Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau, Atlantis Bahamas, Visit Orlando and The Palm Beaches, as well as our Partners: The Ben Hotel, Concord Hospitality Enterprises, Global Gifting (who gifted our attendees with beautiful OluKai sandals!) and Vital Circle.

Sponsors met one-on-one in appointments with 30 senior meeting professionals over the two-day event. Here’s what a couple of them had to say:

“I’ve been working in the event industry for a long time and I thought I knew it all, but I walked away with some great ideas and new insight.” Christina Zara, Manager Event Operations, American Academy of Optometry.

“The Inspired Events Summit was a great experience, not only to see the beautiful Ben but also to collaborate, learn about new hoteliers and other suppliers as well as connect to great people by networking. Definitely a must- attend again in the future!” Tracy Wallach, Event Lead, JM Family Enterprises, Inc.
