Visit Orlando and Tripadvisor just launched Common Ground, a new video series inviting viewers to experience Orlando through the eyes of some of the destination’s most recognizable locals.

Now streaming on YouTube, the 3-part series brings together familiar faces from sports, music, food and entertainment for unscripted conversations and experiences around the city.

Brazilian soccer stars Ricardo Kaká and Rafaelle Souza.

The series features Brazilian soccer legends Ricardo Kaká and Rafaelle Souza, Orlando-raised recording artist Joey Fatone, celebrity chef Richard Blais, Broadway and TV performer Michael James Scott, and viral social media stars the Valentine Brothers.

“Some of the best travel memories come from connecting with people and discovering a place through their eyes,” said Casandra Matej, President and CEO of Visit Orlando in a media statement. “Common Ground brings those connections to life through the food, sports, arts and culture that make Orlando such a special place to visit.”

Common Ground is Tripadvisor’s first destination-partner series and was created in partnership with Visit Orlando to showcase the people, places and experiences that shape Orlando.

The first three episodes explore:

  • Sports: Ricardo Kaká and Orlando Pride defender Rafaelle Souza meet at the club’s shared home stadium to talk about the global power of sports and their connections to Orlando.
  • Food: Joey Fatone and chef Richard Blais take viewers on a culinary tour of the city, from Fatone’s favorite spots at Universal Orlando Resort to Blais’ Four Flamingos kitchen.
  • Inclusivity: Orlando native Michael James Scott joins the Valentine Brothers for a look at the city’s performing arts scene and a conversation about creating a more inclusive and accessible world.

Common Ground is built around a simple idea: conversation can connect us, wherever we are,” said Adam Ochman, Global Head of Tripadvisor’s creative studio, Wanderlab. “We’re excited to partner with Visit Orlando to share the people, places and moments that make travel meaningful.”

The series reflects trends highlighted in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Trendcast Report, which found that connection, memorable experiences and human-centered hospitality continue to shape how people travel.
