Shannon Keith
Founder and Chairwoman
Sudara

Shannon Keith is the founder and chairwoman of Sudara, an innovative social enterprise hybrid organization, made up of a certified B Corporation and 501c3 non profit, dedicated to creating economic opportunities for women and girls at risk of sex trafficking in India. Inspired by a life-changing trip to India in 2005, Shannon envisioned a business model that could leverage market forces to address systemic social challenges while creating lasting, sustainable impact.

Drawing on a decade of success in corporate sales and business development, Shannon founded Sudara to demonstrate how business can be a powerful force for good. Under her leadership, Sudara has grown into a globally recognized organization that combines ethical manufacturing, responsible supply chains, and nonprofit programming to help vulnerable women access dignified employment, education, and pathways to long-term economic independence.

Shannon’s pioneering approach to social enterprise has earned national recognition. She has been honored as a Social Impact Winner at Oregon’s largest angel investing conference, received Female Entrepreneur of the Year recognition, delivered a TEDx talk, and was named a Top 25 SheEO World Venture Finalist. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Real Simple, The Good Trade, Conscious Magazine, and numerous other publications.

A sought-after speaker, Shannon regularly delivers keynote presentations and participates in panel discussions on topics including business as a force for good, ethical and sustainable supply chains, women’s economic empowerment, social innovation, and the role of business in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Today, Shannon guides Sudara’s long-term vision and strategy, cultivating partnerships, advancing innovative solutions to complex social issues, and championing a future where every woman has the opportunity to live and work with dignity, freedom, and choice.
