Prevue’s Chicago Visionary Summit, to be held August 11 to 12 at the Chicago Kimpton properties (Hotel Gray, Hotel Allegro and Hotel Palomar), will share strategies for senior-level corporate and association planners around meeting design, contracting, budgeting, and balancing responsibilities.
The event will kick off with an opening reception at the Hotel Allegro on August 11, a celebration of craft beer and wine featuring food pairings and hands-on lessons by Kimpton Hotels’ top mixologists. Highlights of the Education Day on August 12 include Designing Event Experiences for the Senses with Dianne Devitt, where attendees will have a chance to storyboard their own event with the five senses in mind;
Next-Level Meeting Budgeting with Mark Benson of Applied Meeting & Hospitality Solutions, who will alert planners to contingencies they might not have considered; and a session on .
Contract Negotiations in Today’s Buyer’s Market by well-known industry lawyer Jed Mandel.
A meeting planner panel will focus on managing both internal teams and external suppliers, and rotating roundtables—a trademark of the Prevue Visionary Summits—will allow attendees a chance to benchmark with their peers.
Registration and hotel at one of the three properties are complimentary, and Visionary Summit attendees receive 5 credit hours toward their CMP from the Convention Industry Council.
