IMEX America: New for 2022

Taking place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas October 11-13, IMEX America will once again bring together all facets of the meetings industry for a worldwide marketplace, education and networking.

A few highlights from IMEX America 2022:

IMEX Education: Pathways to Clarity

Based on feedback combined with current learning trends and industry intelligence, the IMEX team has restructured the education tracks available and devised a “Pathways to Clarity” theme for the IMEX America education program. The theme is a recognition of the confusion and complexity that has crept into daily work and personal life since the pandemic. It aims to provide tools, insights and lessons to help everyone move forward with confidence, simplicity, and clear thinking. There will be four education tracks (reduced from 10), each taking place in its own dedicated education theater. The four new tracks are: Respect for People and Planet; Future Self; Innovation and Creativity; Event Planner Toolkit.

Smart Monday

Powered by MPI, Smart Monday takes place the day before the IMEX trade show opens, on Monday October 10. Complimentary, cutting-edge professional development includes a keynote speaker, headliners, workshops and tours. Among Monday’s programs, She Means Business will focus on diversity, gender equality and female empowerment. Tailored for all genders, it is about helping meeting and event professionals with strategic goal setting and finding purpose in work and in life.

SITE Night

The legendary SITE Night North America networking event on October 10 brings together SITE’s global community of incentive travel professionals (said to be the friendliest tribe in the business events community) and raises funds for the SITE Foundation.

MPI Foundation Rendezvous

At IMEX America Night on October 12, the MPI Foundation Rendezvous is a night of fun, networking with the best and the brightest, and giving back to the meetings industry. It will be held at the dazzling rooftop Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub, with spectacular views over the Strip, a multi-sensory dance floor and open bar.
