Meeting space renovations at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort raise the bar for luxury events.

Planners know Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley, AZ, as a bespoke property for wellness-focused, restorative meetings. Situated on 53-desert acres framed by the mountain’s north slope, the resort radiates a zen-like vibe. There are 110 luxurious suites and casitas, including a portfolio of villas with hyper-personalized services. The resort’s 8,000 sf of indoor and outdoor meeting space has recently undergone a top-to-toe renovation that not only adds functionality and flexibility, but also brings brings the breathtaking views into focus.

“This $7 million transformation represents a pivotal moment for Sanctuary Camelback Mountain as we enter 2026,” said Laura McIver, General Manager of Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa, in a press statement. “The reimagined spaces honor our commitment to providing exceptional experiences while solidifying our position as the premier destination for sophisticated gatherings in the greater Phoenix area.”

Included in the renovation is a dramatic redesign of The Views Ballroom. Here, 3,204 sf of flexible meeting space can be divided into five smaller conference and event spaces. The renovation includes enhancements to the North facade that eliminate visual obstructions such as an existing fireplace, exterior bars and partial walls to fully reveal the stunning vistas. Architectural improvements to the west and north building elevations feature new storefront windows and doors, along with the addition of a “Brise soleil” sun shade that wraps all three sides of the structure to provide both visual cohesion and functional shade.

The newly renovated Phoenix Black conference room at The Views Ballroom brings the outside in.

Additional event space renovations include new flexible seating options across the upper, middle and lower tiers of the Views Lawn and Terrace—allowing customized layouts for small and medium-sized groups. As well, the Cholla meeting room and Paradise Views areas were updated with refreshed finishes and design details that enhance both their functionality and ambiance.
