Air Canada is ramping up its summer schedule to Mexico in 2026, offering 18 percent more seat capacity than last year.
The airline’s expansion includes new year-round service from Montreal to Guadalajara, as well as increased frequencies to Cancun, Monterrey, Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta.
Expanded Connectivity Across Mexico
Air Canada is introducing a new year-round Montreal–Guadalajara route starting in June, with three weekly flights. The new service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Montreal, returning from Guadalajara on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
In addition, Air Canada is boosting frequencies on its most popular Mexican routes to meet growing demand. Montreal–Cancun flights increase from seven to eleven weekly, Toronto–Monterrey rises to four weekly departures, Vancouver–Mexico City climbs to eleven weekly flights starting June 27 and Vancouver–Puerto Vallarta doubles to two weekly services.
“We continue to expand Air Canada’s far-reaching and diversified global network with improved connectivity between our hubs and cities across Mexico. Since 1954, Mexico has been an important part of our global network, and this summer, Air Canada’s added capacity will further reinforce the long-standing tourism and commercial ties between our two countries,” said Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and President of Cargo at Air Canada, in a press statement.
Air Canada’s flights to Mexico feature premium and economy cabins, free beer, wine, premium Canadian snacks and complimentary in-flight entertainment for all customers, plus fast, free WiFi for all Aeroplan Members.
