Waldorf Astoria New York has officially reopened its Grand Ballroom and other event spaces following an extensive restoration, marking a major milestone in the property’s return to Manhattan’s hospitality and events scene.
The restoration brings back to life the hotel’s most iconic venues, including the Grand Ballroom, Silver Corridor, Astor Salon, Basildon Room and Jade Room. Collectively, the property now offers nearly 43,000 sf of event space across 14 private rooms on two floors, with capacity for everything from corporate gatherings to large-scale galas.
“The Waldorf Astoria New York has served as the backdrop for countless historic events, and with this unveiling, the Grand Ballroom once again takes its place as the centerpiece of New York’s social and business scene,” said Danny Hughes, President, Americas, Hilton, in a media statement.
