Delta Air Lines is introducing an enhanced Delta One experience, with updates to onboard dining, beverage offerings, amenities and service.

Informed by two decades of customer feedback, the changes represent the airline’s largest investment in the Delta One experience to date. The refreshed offering is launching first on transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles International Airport this fall, with expansion across Delta’s global network planned for early 2027.

“Delta’s fully reimagined experience is rooted in solving real customer needs and desires, with intentionality behind every detail,” said Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s Chief Marketing and Product Officer, in a press statement. “Every investment we make is deliberate and designed to deliver the industry’s most premium end-to-end travel experience. This elevated dining and hospitality experience reflects our relentless focus on raising the bar while giving customers greater control throughout their journey.”

Elevated Dining and Beverage Options

At the center of the update is a refreshed menu developed with Delta’s in-house culinary team, chef Simon Hulstone and Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson. The program emphasizes elevated versions of familiar dishes, with regionally inspired options created in consultation with chefs Norio Ueno and Jereme Leung.

Menu highlights include a Wagyu beef burger with caramelized onions and cheddar, roasted sea bass with tomato tarragon sauce, and seasonal risotto. The airline is also updating its signature dessert cart with options including a sundae featuring Amarena cherries and pecan praline crumble, dairy-free sorbet and a Napa Valley-inspired fruit and cheese plate.

The beverage program includes a new wine selection featuring 13 wines from 11 wineries for the October 2026 to September 2027 rotation. A new cocktail and mocktail program will offer alcoholic and nonalcoholic versions and will be offered during international routes in March 2027 and domestic routes in April 2027.

The updated service also gives travelers more control over meal timing and onboard routines. Expanded preselection options include lighter meals and gluten-free selections, while passengers on long-haul flights can choose to skip morning meal service and have coffee and a croissant before landing. Delta is extending its entree preselection window to 18 hours before departure, six hours longer than previously offered.

Amenities are also receiving an update. A new Missoni “Winter Elsewhere” amenity kit, launching Nov. 3, features a nature-inspired design, premium skincare products and a wrist strap intended for use beyond the flight. Delta will also introduce a Missoni Mini pillow on transoceanic Delta One routes. Bombas comfort socks are returning to select domestic and international flights departing the U.S.

The onboard entertainment experience will feature next-generation seatback screens and enhanced digital features designed to make it easier for passengers to discover content and personalize their journey.

Delta said more than 200 flight attendants and team members contributed feedback during 14 months of development, including testing across 36 trial flights. The work informed changes ranging from tableware and tea service to meal presentation.

The Delta One enhancements are part of the airline’s broader investment in its premium travel experience, spanning onboard products, airport lounges, connectivity and personalized digital services.
