Nemacolin, located in Farmington, Pennsylvania, offers planners a range of unique spaces and outdoor activities to inspire groups.

“At Nemacolin, our groups are able to utilize our non-traditional space to elevate custom experiences that are impossible to do anywhere else,” says Chris Sessions, director of sales, Nemacolin. “We can tailor an evening dinner at Reflections, a contemporary art gallery at the resort, or utilize our collection of antique airplanes or automobiles as the backdrop for an event on our private airstrip.”

Nemacolin offers planners more than 20 venues spread over 2,200 acres, as well as a range of accommodation types from European-inspired The Chateau, to luxe-leisure at Falling Rock or The Lodge for a more woodsy escape. Incentive experiences at Nemacolin can include winter sports such as skiing and dogsledding, as well as well as activities such as horseback riding, 3D wilderness archery, fly fishing, paintball, jeep off-roading, wildlife adventures, art classes, cooking classes, wine tasting and more.

The Woodlands Spa and Salon at Nemacolin features a range of treatments as well as a four-lane indoor lap pool, seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, whirlpools, steam and sauna rooms. The Holistic Healing Center offers curated wellness packages including acupuncture, yoga, salt-water float therapy, infrared light therapy and cryotherapy. The resort also boasts two Pete Dye-designed golf courses and a Golf Academy that offers group instruction.

“In July of last year, we did a soft opening for The Peak, the resort’s new hub of adventure that features year-round fun — including a well-heated outdoor pool that is open all year long; a live entertainment stage; delicious drinks and dining that can be enjoyed inside, outside, poolside, or in a cabana; a swim-up bar, hot tub, and a float pool,” says Sessions. “The Peak also has summer tubing, ropes courses, a climbing wall, bike rentals, cosmic bowling, axe throwing, and a zip line with incredible views. When the weather cools down, the pool stays open, and the mountain becomes a winter wonderland for skiing, tubing, and snow sports.”

Nemacolin’s Mystic Rock golf course underwent bunker and tee box renovations in summer 2021 and is now open. The resort also offers indoor play at The Nemacolin Golf Academy, featuring state-of-the-art technology, 18 holes of golf and customized instruction. The resort’s Holistic Healing Center has also welcomed a new licensed acupuncturist and doctor of Chinese medicine to the property.
