Robert is the Global Director for Charter and Incentive Sales at Hurtigruten. He brings incredible experience, creativity and drive to expand the charter & incentive business in collaboration with shipboard and shoreside teams.
Robert has 30 years of sales experience, including 20 in the cruise industry, and more than 15 in the M.I.C.E sector – most recently with Landry & Kling Global Cruise Events, trailblazers in cruise industry meetings and events. Prior roles were charter, groups & incentive sales director USA for Club Med Sales, and International Sales Manager for Norwegian Cruise Line and Orient Lines.
Doug Wheeler has been engaged in the hospitality/travel/meeting/event and incentive industries for over 40 years. Doug spent 15 years of his career in the hotel/resort industry where he worked for 8 hotel corporations and served in executive roles in sales/marketing and catering/conference services. For the past 26 years, he has founded and operated 2 global meeting/event and incentive travel companies.

Joyce co-founded Landry & Kling Global Cruise Events company in 1982 as the first to specialize in corporate meetings, incentives, and events at sea. Landry & Kling manages corporate cruise programs, music festivals at sea, theme cruises, and dockside ship charters for global events and disaster relief. Joyce has held positions on several cruise line advisory boards and is considered a pioneer and thought leader in the industry.
Joyce’s credentials include being named one of Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry by Meeting News magazine. Joyce and her former business partner Jo Kling were also inducted into the Cruise Industry Hall of Fame, in recognition of their visionary role in the use of cruise ships as corporate meeting venues.
