The reimagined Borgota Tower brings contemporary glamour to a popular Atlantic City MICE resort.
Planners know Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa as a meetings-focused, luxury casino resort that feels like a city unto itself. There are two guest room towers: the 2,000 room Borgota Tower and the smaller MGM Tower. Among the resort’s amenities are 106,000 sf of meeting and event space; 161,000 sf of gaming space; a 2,400-seat event center; a 900-seat theater; 13 restaurants; a 31 treatment room spa; and a Roman-style outdoor pool and beer garden. Now a comprehensive, $107 million renovation of the Borgota Tower is updating the lobby and guest room aesthetic with contemporary luxury. Newly renovated guest rooms will be available on a floor-by-floor basis beginning in October 2026.
“The reimagining of the Borgata Tower is the latest step in our broader investment across the property as we continue to enhance the overall guest experience,” said Nik Rytterstrom, President & COO, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, in a press statement. “As one of the most important touchpoints within the resort, this reinvestment gives us the opportunity to thoughtfully evolve the Borgata Tower for today’s guests, with a design that stays true to the sophistication and energy of the property, while introducing a fresh and elevated sense of comfort that still feels distinctly Borgata.”

Inspired by modern Italian design and fine tailoring, guest rooms and suites will feature clean architectural lines, rich materials and residential details. A palette of warm woods, camel, cognac, cream, and deep blue feels polished yet comfortable. Upholstered headboards, custom woodwork, integrated metal detailing and sculptural furnishings add texture and warmth, while lighting and furniture placement draws attention to Atlantic City views. Meeting and event space at the Borgota includes 24 meeting rooms and a 29,000+ sf ballroom that can accommodate 3,200 attendees theatre style or 1,700 attendees for sit-down banquets. Additionally, the MGM Tower has 27,000 sf of event space in nine meeting rooms and four boardrooms, accommodating up to 200.
