New Orleans Marriott has announced the completion of an extensive property-wide renovation ahead of the upcoming peak convention season. The refresh encompasses all 1,333 guest rooms and suites as well as the property’s M Club.

“As one of the largest convention hotels in the region, the New Orleans Marriott plays an important role in welcoming visitors to our city,” said Frank Zumbo, General Manager, New Orleans Marriott, in a press release statement. “This comprehensive renovation represents a significant investment in the guest experience and reinforces our commitment to serving both leisure and group travelers with modern accommodations, enhanced amenities and the hospitality for which New Orleans is known. Located in a city that was Built to Host, we are proud to continue evolving this iconic hotel while remaining a trusted destination at the center of the city’s business, cultural and entertainment districts.”

Enhancements include the conversion of Double/Double Guest Rooms to Queen/Queen accommodations. King Guest Rooms’ chaise lounges now convert to a full-size bed, adding more flexibility to better accommodate families and groups, and new walk-in showers have been added to most of the guest rooms, as well as space-enhancing sliding bathroom barn doors and updated bathroom decor featuring marble vanities and illuminated mirrors.

Upgrades to suites include hard surface flooring and refreshed decor in living spaces, plus chaise lounges that convert to a double bed in Crescent City and Tower Suites. Five new Queen/Queen Crescent City suites will introduce greater flexibility for groups, and signature suites such as the Presidential Suite, the bi-level Mayor’s Suite, Governor’s Suite and two-bedroom General Manager’s Suite have been reimagined with refined finishes and expanded residential-style amenities.

Additionally, the hotel’s M Club has been fully redesigned to provide Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and qualifying guests with an elevated lounge experience. The refreshed space features a neutral color palette, flexible seating for work and relaxation, upgraded finishes and a statement chandelier composed of glass orbs with gold accents.
