The Ontario Airport Hotel & Conference Center plans to rebrand as Hyatt Regency Ontario, following a comprehensive renovation in December.

The project will modernize guest rooms, public spaces, dining venues and approximately 22,000 sf of meeting and event space. Located minutes from Ontario International Airport, the hotel is strategically positioned to serve corporate groups, association meetings and regional conferences.

The property also offers convenient access to Toyota Arena, Victoria Gardens and Ontario Mills.

“Transforming into a Hyatt Regency-branded property will mark a defining moment for our hotel and for the Ontario market,” said General Manager Marta Altares, in a media statement. “This investment will elevate every touchpoint—from the arrival experience to our culinary offerings and guest accommodations.”

The hotel will remain operational throughout the renovation process, with enhancements unveiled in phases over the next year.

Expanded Appeal for Meeting Planners

One of the most significant upgrades will be the renovation of the hotel’s 22,000 sf flexible meeting and event space. Combined with Hyatt Regency’s global brand recognition, the refreshed property is expected to strengthen Ontario’s appeal as an alternative meetings destination within Southern California.

The redesigned hotel will feature 295 guest rooms and suites, many offering city or mountain views. Additional amenities will include a large heated outdoor pool and new social gathering spaces that can support networking events and informal group functions.

New Culinary Experiences

A centerpiece of the renovation will be Lozano, the hotel’s new signature restaurant.

The all-day dining venue will showcase coastal Mediterranean cuisine influenced by Italian, French, Spanish and African culinary traditions. The menu will emphasize seasonal ingredients, fresh seafood, handmade pastas and an extensive wine selection.

For groups and executive gatherings, Lozano will also feature a private dining room accommodating up to 12 guests, providing an intimate venue for client dinners, board meetings and VIP events.
