For groups looking to incorporate Pride programming into a meeting, incentive trip or social itinerary, San Antonio offers an experience few destinations can match.

Between a nighttime Pride parade, a floating celebration on the Riverwalk and events across the city, planners can build several days of activities around one of Texas’ largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, which this year peaks on the weekend of June 26-28.

At the center of the festivities is the Pride Bigger Than Texas Festival & Night Parade, featuring live entertainment, food vendors, community activations and even a Pride wedding ceremony. The main festival takes place June 27 at Crockett Park, while the highly anticipated Night Parade begins at 9 p.m.

The celebration also includes a crowd-favorite, the Annual Pride SA Krystal Kelly Running of The Queens “High Heel Race,” which takes place just before the parade kicks off.

Another standout during Pride Month in San Antonio is the Pride River Parade & Celebration, known as being one of the most unique Pride events in the country. This year on May 30, decorated barges traveled along the San Antonio River, transforming the downtown waterway into a floating festival.

Beyond the headliner celebrations, Pride Week San Antonio coordinates a broader schedule of LGBTQ+ programming throughout the city. Additional events include drag brunches, pool parties, DJ nights, bar crawls and community festivals.

If you’ve planned an event in the Alamo City, you know that San Antonio’s appeal extends beyond its event calendar. The city’s walkable downtown core makes it easy for groups to navigate between venues—the Riverwalk is blocks from a cluster of major-flag hotels—while its established convention and hospitality infrastructure supports gatherings of virtually any size.
