Bandshell-on-the-Daytona-Beach-BoardwalkA nearly $2 billion investment into Daytona’s racing heritage, oceanfront location and arts scene is adding new dimensions to meetings and incentives.

It all begins with One Daytona, a retail, dining and entertainment destination just across from Daytona International Speedway that also includes two new hotels: the recently opened 105-room Fairfield Inn & Suites and The Daytona, a 145-room Marriott Autograph Collection hotel set to open late this year. One Daytona also has the new distinction of housing the 20th stop on the Daytona Beach Ale Trail—the Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery. The trail serves up the best local craft brews, artisan spirits and bites.

There’s also much ado about the opening of the oceanfront Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Convention Hotel and Condominium, which is under construction. Groups will find year-round festivals—seafood to Celtic arts—to spice up meetings, and for a really authentic destination experience, consider an oceanfront summer concert in the historic coquina amphitheater.
