TradeWinds, the largest meetings-focused resort on Florida’s Gulf Coast, has added value-date perks for 2026 and 2027.
With 70,000 sf of indoor meeting space and 29,000 sf of outdoor meeting space, TradeWinds Resort is well-suited for groups of all sizes. Said to be the largest meetings-focused resort on Florida’s Gulf Coast, the 734-room resort is located on 40 oceanside acres along St. Pete Beach in two adjacent properties: Island Grand Beach Resort and RumFish Beach Resort. Among the amenities for groups is a variety of meeting spaces that range from 23 breakout rooms to the Pavilion, accommodating 1,200 attendees; a 24/7 CMP-certified Convention Services Manager; AV support from Encore; on-site shipping and transportation; and a corporate photographer for group events.
Now TradeWinds is offering a sweet deal for planners who book a minimum of 25 rooms on the 2026 and 2027 value dates of July 1-December 15 and January 1-10. The offer includes the selection of two value-added perks from the following choices:
• Five percent credit to the group master, or an option to apply the credit as a charitable donation.
• A complimentary one-hour reception with beer, wine and chef’s choice of two hot and two cold hors d’oeuvres, or a complementary AM or PM break with chef’s selection of F&B.
• 12 percent commission on sleeping room revenue.
A few of the popular group activities at TradeWinds are the All-American Cookout with lawn games, a boat-building regatta, glow-in-the-dark volleyball and photo scavenger hunts. All can be customized for groups. The resort’s most recent renovation is a 2025 expansion of F&B outlets with two new restaurant openings—Pete’s Gulf Bistro with a diverse array of classic cuisine, and Playa Taco Cocina y Tequileria serviing crave-worthy Mexican food alongside an extensive margarita and craft cocktail menu. More casual new eateries in a space called The Hall include a coffee shop, an ice cream & candy shop and a grab-and-go pizza outlet.
