IBTM Wired will be a four-day virtual event.

IBTM Events has announced IBTM Wired, a new online event that will become a permanent addition to its global events portfolio.

The four day IBTM Wired event will take place from Jun. 28 – Jul. 1, 2021, and will consist of one-to-one business meetings, networking sessions, and a program of live and on-demand education sessions.

The event platform will be open 24-hours a day for the event’s duration so that global attendees can tailor their schedule to their time zone.

“While there’s huge demand for face-to-face events and we look forward to their return, it’s clear that there is a long-term place for high-quality online meetings,” said Michael Jones, IBTM event manager, in a press release statement. “IBTM Wired will tap into the desire for year-round connections and will be a valuable and easily accessible touchpoint for existing and new customers from all over the globe who are looking to do business and network with their peers.”

Each day will focus on key insights from a region. Jun. 28 will focus on Asia Pacific, and IBTM has partnered with the Singapore Association for Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS) to create SMF X IBTM Wired, which will see this year’s hybrid Singapore MICE Forum (SMF) integrated into the IBTM Wired program.

Jun. 29 will focus on North and South America; Jun. 30 will focus on the Middle East and Africa; and Jul. 1 will focus on Europe.

“IBTM Wired will use the same intuitive purpose-built platform as our successful IBTM World Virtual 2020,” added Jones. “The platform delivers an industry-leading experience for customers, delivering for them unrivalled business opportunities with a global network of event planners, destinations and suppliers in a cost-effective and time-efficient way.”
