If you want to learn how to run a mind-blowing virtual event, here’s what the masters at the Internet Marketing Association are doing to build buzz. Starting with a giveaway of a Tesla and $100,000 in prizes.

Who wouldn’t be up for the chance to win a Tesla?

That’s just one prize being given away during the Internet Marketing Association’s virtual conference, IMPACT20, presented by the Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School, on October 2.

Its theme? “The Year of Reinvention”

“2020 has upended life as we know it, including the way we do business. But it has also generated new ways of thinking. Our emphasis at IMPACT20 with The Year of Reinvention is on innovation and proactivity as private individuals, professionals and organizations,” said IMA Chairman Sinan Kanatsiz. “We will focus on hope, enthusiasm, reinvention and opportunity. It will be a unique experience, uplifting and empowering.”

The organizers are expecting 100,000 attendees as a result of their marketing efforts.

TED-Talk style presentations will focus on dozens of topics, such as AI and augmented reality, Generation Alpha, shoppable posts, user-generated content and much more. But it’s the many special attractions that take this event into the stratosphere when it comes to engagement:
• Entertainment will include magic, mentalism and live music
• IMPACT20 will be an attempt to set a record with Guinness World Records as largest attendance for a virtual marketing conference in one week
• Several non-profit partners will be showcased throughout the program
• Mind-blowing prizes and giveaways including a 2021 Tesla Model 3, as well as $100,000 in sponsored items.
The IMA is one of the fastest-growing and largest Internet marketing groups in the world, with professional members in fields including sales, marketing, business ownership, programming and creative development. Learn more about IMPACT20 here.
