Among other projects, the group has put together educational seminars dealing with hot issues in our industry. “Right now, we are focusing on a group of podcasts,” says Anne Marie Rogers, the group’s chair. “These are designed to focus on wellness, as we navigate these difficult times, followed by networking sessions to provide a safe space to compare notes and support one another.”

Membership: SITE membership is required: New member dues are $495 with pro-rate options available throughout the year. Industry leaders with two years or less of experience in the travel industry can save $245.

Mentorship Opportunities: This meeting industry group offers various mentorship opportunities. One is Advisors in Action, a peer-to-peer mentorship program that was designed as a way to connect a “Young Leader “(defined as someone in the business under five years or age group 35 and under) with a trusted advisor. “It started out as thought to connect the Young Leaders with someone more experienced in the business, but has turned into a wonderful two way mentorship—as both age groups really benefit,” says Rogers.
