Prevue Editor Named to 2023 FICP Education Committee

Prevue is pleased to announce that Barbara Scofidio, Editor of Prevue and Curator of Prevue’s Visionary Summit Series, will continue her role for another year as a member of the FICP Education Committee in 2023.

The FICP Education Committee provides
guidance and direction on the association’s education vision and generates content recommendations for the various education activities throughout the year.

In her role, Barbara will use her editorial experience with Prevue and the educational programs she creates to advise Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals of the latest trends in the meetings and incentives industry and to help shape its online and live educational content.

FICP’s 2023 Education Forum will take place June 27-29 at the Omni Amelia Island Resort; the Annual Conference is November 12-15 at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort.

With a history spanning 60 years, FICP is a community of financial services and insurance industry meetings and events professionals dedicated to developing members, and advocating the positive impact and value of their work. The association provides access to education, experience and resources targeting the needs of 1,200+ financial services and insurance meeting professionals and hospitality partners from across North America.

Barbara has been a member of the FICP Education Committee since 2017. She has also been a member of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence’s Women IN Leadership committee since 2019. She was also the first member of the media ever to be invited to sit on the committee by Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), where she spent three years on the Groups and Meetings Committee. She has been an active member of SITE for 30 years, chairing its Crystal Awards committee and acting as a judge.
