Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts embarks on a new brand extension with the debut of its first yacht.
In partnership with shipping experts Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, Four Seasons is extending its luxury lifestyle brand and singular style to the high seas. “Four Seasons Yachts represents the next chapter of our long history of industry leading innovation, and a milestone moment for our company as we continue to capitalize on new opportunities to extend the world of Four Seasons,” said Christian Clerc, President, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Appropriate for top-tier incentive programs, the first Four Seasons yacht will reflect bespoke craftsmanship, personalized service and a dedication to excellence. Veteran luxury travel industry expert Larry Pimentel is leading the enterprise. “We are bringing together the very best across industries to create the pinnacle yachting offering through world-class design, curated experiences and truly exceptional service,” he said. “When we launch in 2025, there will be nothing else like it on the open seas.”
Among ultra-luxe differentiators will be the vessel’s 95 spacious accommodations—the smallest at 581 square feet—with 7.9-ft ceilings, designed as an extensive network of joining suite combinations that evoke the feel of villa-like residences. Each suite will have floor-to-ceiling windows providing unobstructed natural light and access to expansive terraces. The ultimate “Funnel Suite” will be a four-level residence of more than 9,601 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space including a private wading pool and dedicated spa area.
The yacht’s classic canoe-shaped aft will be home to an expansive pool deck that transforms into an outdoor movie theatre or private event space, said to be the industry’s first transverse marina. A dedicated Four Seasons Yacht team will lead onboard and destination experiences and the vessel is expected to have an unmatched staff-to-guest ratio to deliver highly personalized service.
State-of-the-art environmental technologies and sustainable practices include green energy fuels, zero emission energy sources such as solar and shoreside electrical power, air emission standards that far exceed international requirements, extensive waste recycling, sustainable construction and design materials and much more.
Planned as the first of a fleet of Four Seasons Yachts to be built over the next five years, the vessel was recently introduced as a “new lifestyle travel experience” at the Monaco Yacht Show. It is currently being designed by Fincantieri in Trieste, Italy. More of the vessel’s singular features and programming will be revealed in the coming months and up to the vessel’s delivery in late 2025.
