Cvent has announced that its signature Cvent Connect event will be held in Nashville in 2026.
Meeting, event and hospitality technology behemoth Cvent is taking its 2026 customer and industry conference Cvent Connect to Nashville, Tenn., July 13-16, 2026. The event, which has been held the past two years in San Antonio, Texas, is going to Nashville to provide its attendees a new way to experience how local influences and experiences can make events more impactful.
The move of the fast-growing industry event is good news for Nashville, too. Over the past two years, the conference has brought an estimated $13 million in direct economic impact to its host city, and expectations are high that Nashville will bring in even more attendees, who in turn will bring in more spending in the city’s attractions, venues, retail outlets, bars and restaurants. But the real impact comes from bringing in event professionals and marketers to experience the city during the event, which often can drive sustained economic value as they bring their own events to town long after the Cvent event has ended.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Cvent CONNECT to Nashville in 2026,” said Deana Ivey, President and CEO, Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. “There’s no greater endorsement of our city’s appeal for meetings than hosting thousands of the industry’s top planners. This is an invaluable opportunity for us to showcase our new offerings, diverse venues, seamless citywide experience, and the authentic hospitality that makes Nashville a standout destination. We look forward to forging new partnerships and inspiring future business. We are confident that Cvent CONNECT 2026 will leave attendees inspired and eager to return.” This is music to her organization’s ears, because their mission is to maximize the economic contribution of the convention and tourism industry to the community.
Cvent Connect has grown along with its sponsoring company, whose comprehensive event marketing and management platform and global marketplace now serve more than 24,000 customers around the globe. The conference now hosts thousands of event professionals, as well as hoteliers, to network and learn about how they can maximize Cvent’s platform and marketplace to accelerate their events’ return on investment (ROI), as well as increase their group business revenue, something that’s always top of mind in today’s stagnant budget/cost-cutting climate.
“As one of the top conferences in the meetings, events and hospitality space, we understand the importance of providing this discerning audience with an unforgettable experience,” said Rachel Andrews, Senior Director, Global Meetings & Events at Cvent. “We’re incredibly grateful to the team at Visit San Antonio for their unwavering support and hospitality over the last two years and we’re excited for what’s next in 2026. As a long-time Top Meeting Destination, Nashville’s vibrant culture, rich musical heritage, exceptional hotels, and unique event venues make it the perfect backdrop for our conference. We’re thrilled to start planning next year’s event and can’t wait to welcome our thousands of attendees to explore a new city and enjoy all that Nashville has to offer.”
