Fresh from a multi-million-dollar renovation, the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown redefines Music City meetings.

A comprehensive renovation of the 494-room Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown, completed last year, includes all guest rooms, the hotel’s 29,000 sq-ft of event space, intimate on-demand work space for attendees and two karaoke studios. Now the hotel has introduced three new F&B experiences as well.

Recently renovated meeting spaces with state-of-the-art audiovisual capabilities include 13 flexible event rooms and the stunning Platinum Ballroom, with dramatic 22-foot-high ceilings, crushed velvet airwalls and up to 10,680 sq-ft of muti-functional space that can accommodate 1,300 attendees for a reception. The smaller Terrace ballroom (also renovated last year), boasts stunning views of the Nashville State Capitol.

Innovative offerings for groups include the Studios, Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown’s flexible, on demand spaces designed to foster community and collaboration. These soundproof studios are discreet, comfortable spaces for privacy, focused work and restorative retreat breaks. And when it’s time for a fun Music City breakout session or team-building activity,, attendees can head over to state-of-the-art karaoke studios. Named after music icons Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, the studios are equipped with top-tier audio technology.

New F&B experiences for small groups are hosted by the hotel’s Area Beverage Director Ryan Puckett. “Bourbon Wonders: A Buffalo Trace Experience,” is a guided journey into bourbon tasting and cocktail creation. Attendees will explore an exclusive Single Barrel selection and speciality cocktails while savoring expertly paired dishes from the chef. “Classic Cocktails 101: Mixology Masterclass,” is a hands-on workshop where attendees will learn the art of mixing such timeless cocktails as martinis, classic mojitos and bourbon sours. This is a collaborative mixing session that includes all necessary ingredients, personalized instruction, recipe cards and chef-curated bites. And at the “Build Your Own Spirits & Cocktails Experience,” customized spirit tastings and hands-on cocktail crafting tailored to attendee preferences are complemented by paired hors d’oeuvres.
