Looking for a corporate social responsibility opportunity? Join Norwegian Cruise Line in Miami this fall for an overnight event dubbed “the hottest ticket in town.”

Norwegian is donating its soon-to-launch ship, Norwegian Encore, to the non-profit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade November 16th and 17th as part the organization’s 13th annual “Wild About Kids” gala. The CSR event will include access to the cruise line’s two-level go-kart race track, a 10,000-sf indoor virtual reality complex and open-air laser tag arena, designed as conceptualization of the lost city of Atlantis. Attendees will also enjoy an open bar throughout the ship and a variety of entertainment, including a performance of the Tony Award-winning musical “Kinky Boots.”

Sponsorships and tickets to “Wild About Kids” range from $1,750 to $100,000. Sponsorships above $50,000 will have access to Encore’s specialty restaurants such as Cagney’s Steakhouse, Food Republic, Le Bistro, Los Lobos, Ocean Blue, Q, Teppanyaki, American Diner and the recently announced Onda by Scarpetta. Sponsorships $50,000 and below have access to The Manhattan Room, Savor and Taste and the ship’s complimentary dining rooms.

Norwegian aims to help double the attendance of last year’s gala and raise more than $1.5 million, every cent going toward programs that help children realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The event is co-chaired by Norwegian Cruise Line President and CEO Andy Stuart and his wife Allison Stuart, both avid supporters of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.

“This year’s ‘Wild About Kids’ Gala is the hottest ticket in town,” Andy Stuart says. “Taking place on our brand new billion-dollar ship that sets sail on her first revenue cruise after this epic Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade fundraising celebration, the gala provides attendees access to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity while doing a world of good for thousands of local children. I implore both loyal and first-time Boys & Girls Club supporters to take part in this truly meaningful experience.”
