There’s no one quite like Mike Dominguez, President & CEO, Associated Luxury Hotels International, for translating micro-economic trends into laser-focused industry insights—and he will soon take the stage at Prevue’s 2024 Survival Strategies Summit.

Don’t miss Prevue’s Survival Strategies Summit January 17-18, 2024 at The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue, featuring industry veteran and award winner Mike Dominguez. The two-day event will focus on topics that are front of mind for meeting planners in this era of disruption: hotel compression, contracts, risk management and more. Qualified planners will receive complimentary registration, hotel and meals, along with CEUs from the Events Industry Council.

In his session, Disruption and Transformation: What Else Should We Expect?, Dominguez will explore the disruption of technological forces that are changing the way we work and play, along with changes in Washington that we will all wrestle with over the next decade. Attendees are sure to leave with a better understanding of the economic environment and how structural changes will have an impact in 2024 and beyond, and be able to identify ways to optimize their ability to maneuver through this quickly changing environment.

“It’s important to understand the current outlook, economic concerns and forecasts that will dictate behavior in all business environments,” Dominguez says. “The impacts of global political and economic instability still exist although the global economy is growing together for the first time in modern history.”

Dominguez will follow his talk by leading a discussion on meeting planner pain points and solutions featuring Victoria Batten, Director of Sales & Marketing, The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue; Jaclyn Bernstein, President & Partner, Empire Force Events; and Anne Gorman, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, streamlinevents.

Also featured at the Summit:

• John Cordier, CEO, Epistemix, on how simulation can be used to guide your progress in times of uncertainty and help identify emerging consumer/attendee preferences

• Elaine D. Papas, President, Senior Partner and Founder, Law Offices of Elaine D. Papas, on Contracting Strategies for a Seller’s Market.
