More than 1,500 Marriott International hotels are available for instant online bookings.

Using Groups360’s Instant Booking tool, Marriott has launched a simplified way for planners to search, source and book sleeping rooms and meeting space for small groups. “Through our collaboration with Groups360, we can now deliver real-time instant booking through GroupSync Marketplace at hotels in the U.S. and Canada,” said Drew Pinto, Global Officer, Global Sales, Distribution and Revenue Management, Marriott International. “This offers our group customers what they have told us they are looking for, which is a much more seamless and efficient booking experience.”

Marriott’s Instant Booking can be used for meetings with 10 to 25 guest rooms and/or events of up to 50 attendees, starting four days out and up to one year out, with a seven day maximum length of stay. It allows planners to see real-time availability of meeting space and guest rooms and best available group rates. Planners can also add on catering and audiovisual equipment. Once the booking is completed on GroupSync, hotels receive instant notification. The 1,5000+ inventory of Marriott properties is expected to grow throughout this year.

While Marriott’s Instant Booking is not available for larger groups, planners can view inventory availability at Marriott hotels around the world to efficiently target requests for proposals (RFPs). “Our industry-leading integration with Groups360 will allow all Marriott hotels globally to receive and respond to RFPs quickly and efficiently through a two-way response process, said Pinto. “This will be a win-win for both planners and hotels.”
