We’ve heard quite a bit in the last two years on how to engage Millennials at meetings, but what about the generation coming up after them—those born in the mid-to-late 1990s?

It may seem to early to ponder how we should be engaging Generation Z (the oldest members of this cohort are barely 18), but not for brand marketer Amanda Slavin, founder and CEO of CatalystCreativ.

Slavin offers insights for engaging the generation born into the digital age, among them:   “Gen Z people are mini-entrepreneurs. They turn their hobbies into jobs, they turn their content into a business, and they create their own culture. They know more than meets the eye when it comes to innovation, technology and the future—and the second you try to tell (or sell) them otherwise, they’ll be bored and disregard you all together.”
