EventUp
Prevue recently used EventUp to locate a venue in downtown Chicago, and it covers 300 cities. A detailed search allows you to choose from over a dozen of vibes, from exposed brick to industrial to rustic, as well as neighborhoods.
Social Tables
Social Tables has a venue finder that allows you to search and compare the profiles of thousands of venues — each complete with diagrams drawn to scale, meeting space dimensions, reviews, venue details and ample photos. You can also submit RFPs to the properties that you’ve added to your cart.
Venuefinder
With both a digital booklet and an app, Venuefinder boasts over 15,000 UK & international venues for parties and special events, as well as hotels for conferences and meeting space. Its search engine drills down to dozens of descriptions, from country home to roof garden.
Cvent
The go-to for hotel sourcing, Cvent added a venue option in its drop-down menu, which drills down to about a dozen options, incluidng movie theaters, nightclubs and a more general “special event venue” option.
