More Meeting for Your Money: 2027 Planner Incentives

With hotel rates, F&B costs and other meeting expenses continuing to climb, planners are looking for ways to stretch their budgets.

Destinations are responding with incentives for 2027 meetings, ranging from per-room-night rebates and master-account credits to extra commissions, site visit assistance and customized concessions.

The offers vary considerably: Some provide cash directly to the organization or planner, while others apply credits to hotel bills or specific event expenses. Many also come with restrictions on group size, booking deadlines, eligible dates and whether the business must be new to the destination, so be sure to check with individual bureaus to confirm current availability, eligibility requirements and program details.
