Destinations are sweetening the deal for planners, offering room-night incentives, F&B credits, transportation assistance and other perks for upcoming programs.
Take a look at these offers, but don’t wait too long. Some booking deadlines are coming up soon.
Newport, RI – Off-Season Deal
This is the best new find. Discover Newport has launched an Off-Season Advantage for newly contracted meetings held Nov. 1, 2026-April 30, 2027. The CVB is offering $10 per actualized room night for groups with 10–49 room nights, $15 for 50–149, and $20 for 150+ room nights. Depending on the program, planners may also receive help with a welcome reception, transportation or attraction passes. The meeting must be sourced through Discover Newport.
Daytona Beach Incentive
The Daytona Beach Area CVB is offering a $5 incentive for new meetings booked for stays through Dec. 31, 2026. Groups need at least 50 peak rooms and a three-night minimum, with special-event periods excluded.
Monterey County Transportation Credit
See Monterey has a meeting promotion offering a credit toward transportation to an off-site venue or F&B at an off-site venue, for groups using at least 25 guest rooms Sunday–Thursday. The promotion covers stays from November 2026 through May 2027, with a maximum payout of $20,000.
Visit Milwaukee Booking Incentive
For qualifying meetings at the Baird Center using Hilton Milwaukee and/or Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, planners can earn $1 per actualized room night from each participating hotel with the Visit Milwaukee Booking Incentive. A 7,000-room-night program, for example, could generate $7,000. The program applies to qualifying 2026–2029 dates, with contracts executed by Dec. 31, 2026.
Visit Buffalo / Buffalo Convention Center Incentive
Visit Buffalo is offering an incentive for new conventions and events booked at the Buffalo Convention Center, with the contract signed by Dec. 31, 2026. Qualifying groups receive complimentary meeting-room rental, complimentary use of the convention center’s equipment inventory, basic Wi-Fi, a 10% credit on the final invoice based on food spend, complimentary air and hotel for a two-day site visit for up to four people, and $5 per actualized room night paid back to the group. The program requires a minimum of 200 room nights and must be booked in cooperation with Visit Buffalo and the convention center.
Mobile, Alabama — Planner Commission Bonus
Another possibility is Visit Mobile’s Third-Party Planner 5% Bonus Commission. New business sourced and contracted through Visit Mobile by Dec. 31, 2026 earns 5% additional commission for groups actualizing in 2027, 4% for 2028–29 groups, plus three roundtrip site-visit airfares. There is also an additional 2% commission on Grand Hotel bookings in 2027.
Puerto Rico — Up to $20 Per Room Night
Discover Puerto Rico is offering up to $20 per room night for qualifying new MICE bookings sourced through the destination. Additional incentives are available for multi-year, convention-center and citywide bookings. Programs must be contracted and countersigned by Dec. 18, 2026. The actual incentive varies by season and room-night tier.
