Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa is the latest to be added to Curio – A Collection by Hilton for its emphasis on authentic experiences within the Indian Wells, Calif., community of Palm Springs.
The destination’s desert climate matched by the property’s spa offerings, staff-led yoga classes and healthy cuisines make it an ideal get-away-from-it-all experience for groups.
Opened in 1960 as the Erawan Garden, the 215-room property consists of an 11-acre, Mediterranean-inspired setting at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains. It features manicured gardens as well as the award-winning 12,000 sf Well Spa, which is currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation. Attendees taking advantage of the spa will delight in its 13 treatment rooms and a courtyard with two private salt water pools for soaking.
The resort’s signature Grove Artisan Kitchen uses several ingredients that are grown at the resort in addition to partnerships with local farmers. That includes everything from organic produce and fresh herbs to locally raised meats and Pacific seafood as well as house-made pastas. The restaurant’s menu emphasizes California cuisine with highlights including huevos rancheros for breakfast and seafood entrees for dinner.
Located in the desert, the property offers a wide range of Jeep tours and hiking trails nearby for attendees to experience in between meeting in its more than 35,000 sf of meeting space. On-property golfing, hot-air ballooning, horseback riding and even celebrity sight-seeing tours are also available.
To celebrate the resort’s addition to Curio Collection, Hilton HHonors members can earn 1,000 points per night on eligible stays from Dec. 20, 2016 through June 20, 2017.
