Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville is now welcoming guests following a renovation and rebrand that brings a sports-focused hospitality concept to Music Row.
The 185-unit property offers planners a new option for groups looking to combine Nashville’s music and entertainment scene with sports-themed gathering spaces.
Located about one mile from downtown, the resort puts groups within easy reach of Nashville’s live music venues, professional and collegiate sporting events and other entertainment attractions.

“Sports have a unique ability to bring people together, creating shared experiences and lasting memories both on and off the field,” said Geoff Richards, Chief Operating Officer at Travel + Leisure Co, in a media statement. “Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville captures that spirit by creating a destination where guests can connect with the energy of competition, storytelling and community while experiencing everything that makes Nashville such a special place to visit.”
Spaces for Groups
The resort’s renovated amenities include an SI Fit gym, sports bar, game room and pool deck designed for gameday activities and events. A tailgate deck is also being added as part of the property’s final phase of construction, with completion expected in the coming months.
The resort’s sports-inspired social spaces could give planners additional options for informal gatherings, receptions and group activities, particularly for programs built around sporting events.
185 Suites
Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville features 185 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. All accommodations include full kitchens and in-unit laundry. An on-site sports concierge can also help guests connect with local games, events and other Nashville experiences.
Nashville Sports Connection
The resort’s opening comes as Nashville continues to grow as a sports destination. Sporting events supported by the Nashville Sports Council have generated more than $1.5 billion in total economic impact, along with nearly 1.2 million hotel room nights and more than 5.5 million spectators.
Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville is the first fully branded destination in the Sports Illustrated Resorts portfolio. Additional properties are planned in Chicago, Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa.
The Chicago resort is currently operating in its “preseason era,” with the full brand offering expected in early 2027. Baton Rouge is planned for a phased opening later in 2027, while the brand’s first ground-up resort in Tuscaloosa is expected to be completed in 2028.
