The Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach, Florida—known as the Pink Palace—has completed a multi-million-dollar renovation following the 2024 storms and reopened with refreshed public spaces and a new Royal Ballroom.
“Kicking off 2026 with the unveiling of our renovated public spaces and the new Royal Ballroom marks a defining moment for The Don CeSar,” said Barbara Readey, General Manager of The Don CeSar, in a press release statement. “As a symbol of St. Pete Beach for nearly a century, welcoming guests back in this new era is deeply meaningful for our team. We’re honored to share the next chapter of the Pink Palace with travelers and the community alike.”
The new Royal Ballroom spans 7,400 sf and features sweeping views of the gulf and the St. Pete Beach. Groups can start their event with pre-dinner cocktails in the adjacent Grand Ballroom Foyer & Veranda, and then descend the twin curved staircases to the ballroom below. The Royal Ballroom features world-class amenities, including customized menus, decor, entertainment services, AV capabilities and full-service event support.
The resort has also refreshed its culinary offerings with signature fine-dining restaurant Maritana, serving Spanish-inspired cuisine with a focus on fresh Gulf seafood and locally sourced ingredients. Society Table, led by Chef Susan Burdian offers a relaxed indoor-outdoor gathering place; the Rowe Bar is a refined sports bar that will also soon debut the Rowe Pavilion, featuring outdoor seating with firepits and water views; while the Lobby Bar is a 1920s-inspired cocktail lounge with live music and a Prohibition-inspired cocktail program.
