Best Practices in Data Analysis—Melissa Van Dyke, Creative Group
Join Melissa as she explores the evolution of the meetings and events industry and how data is and will be used as a differentiator in events moving forward. Van Dyke will explore best principles in using data before, during, and after events with a focus on how data can elevate each stakeholder’s experience in an event.
Best Practices in Contracting—Katie Muck, Meeting Sites Resource
Hotel contracts are complicated, but are a must to define responsibilities and make mutual obligations perfectly clear. In the Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) landscape, hotel contract risk mitigation has become and important metric. In this interactive workshop, attendees will discuss a multitude of methods to negotiate contracts that assure added meeting value, cost savings and risk management, including dispute resolution.
