Art Basel kicks off this week in Miami with a performance by Kendrick Lamar at the Faena Art Dome.

In true Art Basel form, artist Shanell Martin will simultaneously be creating a mural inspired by Lamar’s performance. The next day, Madonna will host a “music, art, mischief and live performance” event, also at the Faena Art Dome. As if these events aren’t entertaining enough, here are five activities for groups to check out during this art-filled weekend.

DanceBody

Popularized in New York City, the DanceBody fitness program is expanding to Miami, offering classes at Anatomy at 1220 in Miami Beach. To commemorate the launch, DanceBody is offering daily classes during Art Basel geared toward art lovers and partygoers to participate in this workout that combines dance cardio, sculpting, and mind and attitude for a holistic approach to fitness.

The Surf Lodge

Montauk, N.Y.’s popular Surf Lodge is making its way to Miami during Art Basel by hosting a variety of artist-hosted dinners, poolside cocktail parties and pop-up shops at W South Beach. Perhaps one of the best parts for groups is the wellness classes, inclduing yoga and meditation, that are open to the public this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

UNICO 20°87°

The 448-room UNICO 20°87° is taking the all-inclusive experience to the next level in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Scheduled to open next year, the property is hosting a three-day, pop-up preview during Art Basel at its sister property, Nobu Eden Roc Miami Beach. The event will give groups a glimpse into the adults-only property that will emphasize authentic experiences for next-generation travelers.

Sound Works in SoundScape Park

Attendees can bring a blanket or lawn chair to experience a compilation of six artists’ sound works from the surround sound system at SoundScape Park. Free to the public, the sound works will start promptly at 6 p.m. before the nightly film screenings.

Untitled Art

Beneath an Oceanside tent, Untitled Art weaves together exhibiting galleries, artist-run exhibition spaces and non-profits. Better yet, the participatory installation by Rirkrit Tiravanija and Tomas Vu called “RT TV Boards” allows attendees to borrow a surf board inscribed with Beatles lyrics and gives them a spot to rinse off after surfing in the ocean.
