Klima, Miami Beach, meeting planning

Corporate groups seeking a sophisticated dining experience will not be disappointed in Klima, a trendy restaurant and bar that debuted earlier this year in Miami Beach. Aside from Chef David ‘Rusti’ Rustarazo’s flair for culinary fusion, this time blending Mediterranean with a taste of Barcelona, Klima’s warm ambiance poses an intriguing buyout option. The 122-seat venue, formerly home to Tosca, Eden and Talula, has been completely redesigned, now featuring a comfortable lounge and bar, and opening some time next year, a members-only club space on the second floor. Warm hues such as natural light oak flooring, with surprising pops of green(ery) and art intermixed, create a home-like atmosphere.

Keeping with the growing expectation of seasonally-charged fare, Klima’s international menu utilizes locally raised products, resulting in eclectic cuisine that is simple to the eye and authentic in taste. Small plates such as oyster, ponzu sauce and salmon roe, and half-cooked egg, potato parmentier and Iberian ham can be enjoyed at the bar or in the main dining area and outdoor venue, already a popular gathering spot. Fish, meats, salads, a raw bar and pasta are also available.
