The International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals has decades behind it and a world of opportunity ahead of it.
Founded in Miami, FL in 1994 but now based in Texas, the International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals (IAHMP) supports Hispanic meeting planners while advocating for greater representation within the meetings and hospitality industry.
The organization also showcases Latin and Hispanic America as intriguing and exciting places to bring meetings—both for state-of-the-art facilities and an unparalleled variety of landscapes and cultures. From the wild horses of Ruidoso, New Mexico to Miercoles de Danzon in Oaxaca, attendees will experience unforgettable sights and sounds when they gather for conventions and events throughout the Hispanic world.
IAHMP’s mission statement encompasses seasoned professionals as well as those just getting started. Following are their strategic goals:
