Novobeing and Olympian partner to bring immersive VR and therapeutic technology to meetings and events.
A new partnership between Olympian Meeting, a pioneer in wellness-centered event design, and immersive wellness and therapeutic technology provider Novobeing intends to integrate evidence-based wellness solutions — including virtual reality-based immersive tech — to the meetings and events world. Under the agreement, Olympian Meeting will be Novobeing’s official event services provider, and Novobeing will be Olympian’s exclusive immersive VR/AR wellness partner.
“We’ve long believed that wellness isn’t a luxury add-on — it’s a strategic advantage,” said David T. Stevens, Co-founder of Olympian Meeting and Host of the Return on Wellness web series. “Partnering with Novobeing allows us to provide science-backed cutting-edge tools that not only feel good in the moment but yield lasting benefits for attendees and organizers alike.” His company was formed to provide wellness-first event services that enhance engagement and optimize attendee performance through science-based and measurable wellness strategies.
“From IMEX to Consensus, Collision, and Salesforce, we’ve brought transformative VR wellness activations to some of the world’s leading conferences — capturing attention, reducing stress, and creating unforgettable moments for thousands of attendees,” said Sid Desai, CEO of Novobeing. “Now, we’re excited to partner with expert event professionals to bring our technology to more people and help make wellness an integral part of the modern event experience.”
Novobeing, which has been focused on the healthcare segment, now is expanding its turnkey VR wellness activations to reduce stress, support mental well-being, and elevate environments in the meetings and events realm. The hardware bundle it supplies comes with the Meta Quest 3S VR/MR headset from Meta, along with the necessary accessories and usage instructions. Some of its activations include interactive meditations and breathwork experiences, and the platform is designed to be intuitive, controller-free and accessible to all users.
Among the benefits the companies believe the new partnership will bring:
- A more holistic event experience delivered through Novobeing’s immersive VR wellness tech and Olympian Meeting’s physical wellness strategies.
- More engaged attendees whose focus, energy and relaxation are supported through accessible, evidence-based interventions.
- Demonstrable and measurable improvements in attendee satisfaction, productivity and overall event outcomes through the use of built-in analytics and feedback tools.
- Easy to use solutions that provide clear usage metrics, real-time report and minimal staffing requirements.
This latest move is a natural outgrowth of Stevens’ commitment to integrating holistic wellness into meetings and events. As he told Prevue’s Regina Baraban in a previous article, “Taking care of attendees by implementing wellness practices pays off in a massive return on investment. When attendees leave an event energized from nourishing food, movement and meaningful engagement—and not exhausted from being run into the ground— they GUSH in the surveys.”
Wellness is “no longer a ‘nice to have’ or a ‘luxury’ for meetings. It is an absolute requirement. I think the biggest thing when it comes to wellness is that it must be intentionally done and given the room to succeed.” The new partnership is designed to bring new tools to do just that.
