Olympian Meeting now offers mindfulness sessions designed specifically for meeting and event attendees.

Olympian Meeting, which specializes in integrating holistic wellness into the meetings and events industry, has just doubled down on its mission by launching a series of free meditations tailored specifically to the needs of harried, tired and overwhelmed meeting and event attendees.

The 5- and 10-minute Quick Focus Mindfulness Sessions, available for free on YouTube and Spotify, include guided cues and dialogue to help meeting participants find calm, focus and clarity during their time at the show. In fact, the specific focus on centering oneself in the middle of the experiential, educational and networking firehose that most experience at a meeting or event is what makes these sessions unique in the meditation marketplace. The idea is to help boost attendee engagement and retention while helping participants have a more centered and productive experience.

“As wellness move more into the forefront of people’s minds and mindfulness becomes more accessible, we realized that no one was talking to conferences and embracing how beneficial and energizing they can actually be,” said David T. Stevens, PMED, Co-Founder of Olympian Meeting and host of the Return on Wellness podcast. “I left IMEX BUZZING, but only because I was able to manage all that energy that can easily get to be overwhelming.”

The company has made these sessions free of charge and readily available to make it easy for conference organizers to stream before, during or after sessions or networking breaks, and for participants to partake at their convenience. Stevens said that planners “are welcome to create a QR code or link to these resources on their agendas or apps.”

Meeting planners, who work in an industry that is famously touted as one of the most stressful jobs one can have, also can take advantage of these quick dips into mindfulness to help maintain their own well-being and sanity.

When asked if there are any plans to expand on these mindfulness sessions in the future, Stevens replied, “I think market demand will determine that. So far they have been well received, so we shall see.”

He added, “Olympian Meeting exists to integrate wellness holistically into corporate events, so we created these to help planners have an additional resource without the work.” Built on the Four Pillars of Wellness—Mindfulness, Movement, Meaning, and Meals—this is the latest offering Olympian Meeting has launched to help create environments where everyone, from attendees to organizers, can thrive. The company’s wellness solutions also include guided mindfulness sessions, interactive movement programs and curated meals designed to enhance the conference experience, increase engagement, and foster a sense of well-being by focusing on both the physical and mental aspects of health.
