Whether a setting in 16th-century Europe or beside the Baja desert, tending your own fruits and vegetables or savoring the creation of a world-famous chef, the fine points of a hotel and resort are what stay with you when you stay with them. Take a look at 9 new hotels joining the luxe lineup for incentives and meetings.

Florence Collegio alla Querce, Florence

A former cultural institution and boarding school, this luxury hotel opening in 2024 will encompass three adjacent 16th-century UNESCO buildings, including an original chapel and theater. It will offer up 82 rooms, including 20 suites and a 2,250-square-foot signature suite. Amenities include an outdoor pool, wine tasting room, spa and fitness center. Dining options will include a destination restaurant, a glass-enclosed garden room set among olive trees for daytime dining, a sophisticated bar and cigar lounge set in the former academic admissions office and an outdoor pool bar.

Four Seasons Resort Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol

Set for an early 2024 opening, the all-new Four Seasons resort will feature 96 guest rooms and suites, plus 61 residences, villas and estates, all with ocean views. Set amid the sights, sounds and tastes of Mexican art and culture, the property also will feature an eclectic collection of dining and drinking options. A wide array of resort experiences ranges from spa and golf to watersports, with a pristine swimmable beach and multiple pools, plus easy shuttle access to dining, nightlife and shopping in Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.

Montage Cay, Bahamas

The private-island resort will feature 50 all-suite accommodations and a limited collection of Montage Residences surrounded by the island’s seven white-sand beaches against the Sea of Abaco and the surrounding cays. A 47-slip marina accommodating vessels up to 110 feet will anchor the resort. Opening date TBA.

Regent Bali Canggu

Regent Hotels & Resorts’ debut in Indonesia is due early summer 2024 with 150 suites and villas on Canggu Beach, drawing inspiration from contemporary Indonesian fashion and culture and blending traditional motifs with modern aesthetics.

Four restaurants and bars will showcase authentic Balinese cuisine and fresh locally sourced produce. The resort also will boast the world’s first Regent Spa, offering health and wellness experiences, including a hydrotherapy pool and a fitness studio.

Romeo Roma

Wherefore art thou, Romeo? Located steps from the famed Piazza del Popolo in Rome, Italy. Brilliantly designed and due by the end of the year, this 16th-century palazzo offers 74 stunning rooms and suites while blending art, fine dining and wellbeing. The property will include a new culinary hotspot, Il Ristorante Alain Ducasse, overseen by celebrated Executive Chef Stéphane Petit.

In addition, there will be an open-air 22,000-square-foot courtyard, a casual restaurant and bar, indoor and outdoor pools, unique viewing of subterranean Roman ancient ruins, a wellness center by Sisley Paris and on the rooftop, a bar and lounge with panoramic views of the city.

Six Senses The Forestias, Bangkok & Six Senses London

Opening in 2024 and located within easy reach of Bangkok, Six Senses The Forestias will encompass a 60-room hotel, 27 residences, and the brand’s first Six Senses Place membership club in Asia. Guests and residential owners will enjoy a tranquil haven offering a host of on-site facilities, including health and wellness amenities, while also being close to Bangkok’s exciting cultural and leisure attractions.

The former Whiteleys department store near Hyde Park will be the Six Senses London in 2024.

Also opening in 2024 will be the Six Senses London, preserving the classic detailing of the former Art Deco-style Whiteleys department store near Hyde Park. Six Senses London marks the brand’s entry into the UK and adds a wellness twist along with 110 guest rooms and suites.

Mondrian Abu Dhabi

Slated for a 2024 opening, the new Mondrian Abu Dhabi will feature 221 rooms and 80 serviced apartments, as well as six unique food and beverage venues, a ballroom, four meeting rooms, a spa, kid’s club, a retail area and world-class fitness area, making it a welcome addition to Abu Dhabi’s buzzing city-center. Guests will be dazzled by the property’s crystal-clear lagoon, where they can enjoy a cocktail while soaking in the sun. The lagoon will boast vast ocean views and feature an infinity pool design as well as lounges and daybeds surrounding the water’s edge.

The brand’s first project in the United Arab Emirates, Mondrian Abu Dhabi is a collaboration with the Al Hazoom Group and will join the Mondrian portfolio consisting of seven operating hotels.

Orient Express “Dolce Vita”

Orient Express La Dolce Vita is a journey straight out of the Golden Age of the Orient Express and its legendary route. The train is composed of just 11 cars offering luxurious Deluxe Cabins and Suites. Passengers will travel in decadent luxury on a voyage from Northern to Southern Italy, crossing 14 captivating regions. A special stopover in Rome will feature the very first Orient Express Hotel, Minerva, also scheduled to open in 2025.
